Living Inquiries is a three-part shared practice exploring another way of meeting life : by cultivating intimacy with what is already here. Together, we will explore the habits that draw us away from the present moment ; our impulse to rush ahead, to explain, to judge, or to seek resolution before an experience has fully revealed itself.
Rather than offering answers, each gathering will begin with a living inquiry ; one that may continue unfolding long after the practice has ended. These sessions will be an invitation to a slower, more receptive & intimate way of being, where the ordinary becomes a place of profound practice, and where transformation happens not by doing more, but through sustained attention.
“Absolutely unmixed attention is prayer.” — Simone Weil
“To study the Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self." — Master Dōgen
For Autumn 2026 : Through the simple ritual of preparing and sharing tea, we will explore what it means to meet the empty space, to listen as a prayer, to cultivate a sense of devotion for repetition, and the wisdom of leaving some moments unresolved.
