A shared space to explore the Five Spirits of Nature through movement.
Each month, Jade creates a unique soundscape and movement experience inspired by the elemental worlds of Earth, Wood, Fire, Metal, and Water — inviting us to listen, move, and encounter the forms these forces take within us.
“Perhaps, in another time, we did not separate dance from prayer.
The body moved because it was alive, trusted, intuitive,
and through its movement, something unseen could be felt.
Feet meeting the earth. Breath rising through the body.
A gesture becoming an invocation.
Life, entering through the soles of the feet,
traveling through bone and blood,
through the open architecture of the body.
What cannot be seen is received into flesh.
Earth rising. Spirit descending.
The body becomes the place where they meet.
And through the movement of one body, the current continues.
Nothing belongs to one alone. It moves through us, between us,
returning again and again to the earth.
Perhaps this is why we dance.
To remember that we belong to a greater circulation.
To remember that what rises may return,
that what descends may be received,
and that somewhere within the turning,
we may remember ourselves as part of the whole.”
