BAZI ASTROLOGY (Personalized Readings)
This offering is a personalized exploration of your inner landscape through the lens of the BaZi astrology system. BaZi 八字, meaning “Eight Characters,” is an ancient Chinese metaphysical system rooted in observations of time, nature, and the movements of life. A natal BaZi chart is composed of four pillars, each made of a Celestial Stem and an Earthly Branch, forming the eight characters that shape an individual’s energetic blueprint.
Each pillar represents the energetic imprint of a specific moment — the year, month, day, and hour of birth. These pillars are calculated through the ancient timekeeping system known as the Ganzhi 干支, which combines ten Celestial Stems and twelve Earthly Branches into a cycle of sixty possible pillars.
Within this system, every hour, day, month, and year carries a particular quality of qi, or life force. By studying the pillars present at birth, we gain insight into the composition and movement of qi (life force) within a person’s life, as well as how major cycles and phases influence their unfolding journey over time.
